This must be one of the hottest days that I remember.. We headed our car to Helsinki for sighthound speciality where whippets were judged by Joachim Bartusch (of Gentle Mind whippets).

Once again Fallow did very well ! She was in a little accident in day before the show so she wasn't at her best but still charmed the judge :) She was 2nd in strong champion class and finally 4th Best Bitch! Good girl :) Thank you judge for appreciating her.

It was time for our hometown's show. Fallow was entered for only Sunday because I was working in the ring on Saturday.

Well the sunday was just a perfect day for us! In the breed ring Fallow was handled by my dear friend Salla Suokas and well....they got it all - Fallow was BOB with CACIB :) Thanks Salla, you know your help means so much to me.

In the finals I handled Fallow by yself as Salla left to home earlier... well we did it pretty well too I think as Fallow placed 2nd in Group!!! So super super super happy :)

The biggest show of the year - World Dog Show - was held in Herning this year. We packed our cars and headed to there, of course! We spent a nice Midsummer weekend in a great company, thank you guys :-)

Fallow was also entered and she got nothing more than EXC in a huge open class.

To share some other results too, Salla's & Sami's young afghan male "Buster" (Scaramis U Make Me Wanna) won his class and got new title JWW-10 !! Way to go Buster:)

5.6 Graduation day

It was time for Finnish Whippet Club's national speciality but we didn't go and stayed home instead - for my graduation celebration :)
Three years of hard work and now it's over...it feels quite good! Now waiting for new adventures to come.

29-30.5 Joensuu

We spent a very nice and rainy weekend in Joensuu showing Fallow. I had the best company ever as I spent the weekend with my friends Laura-Maria and Miia and on Sunday Salla and Liisa joined us.

This was Fallow's first show after her maternity leave and she did it by style! Under Stefan Sinko (Slo) she finished her day as a Best Bitch and finally BOS! Thank you Mr Sinko, we are thrilled!

On Sunday Fallow was 2nd in her class. We also got lovely news from England - Fallow's beautiful sister Pebble, Ch Mossbawnhill It's All About Me, had finished her GB Ch by winning BOB and Group 1st in Bath Ch! Congrats Pamela and Ryan - I'm so happy for you!!! :)

Playdate

For few times Ritva have had a playdate with my friend's chihuahua puppy "Dino". Dino is only 3 days older than Ritva so they get along very well. As you can see Ritva is a little bigger than Dino but well....size doesn't matter - right?!

Finally today Fallow gave birth to one beautiful&healthy baby-girl! Both mom and puppy are doing fine and Fallow is doing a perfect job as a mom :)

As I told you before Christmas, Fallow was mated to Mike. Now its confirmed that she is in whelp and we are waiting puppies to be born around Valentine's day!! Soo exciting, isn't it?!

Fallow 5 weeks after mating

Last week my precious Vimma celebrated her 5th birthday! Time flies.. it feels like yesterday when she came home!

At the moment I'm having my last week of high school! So exciting to make all the plans for future. I'm also looking foward to summer, when we start our show season! After last year when we were showing only few times I'm missing dog shows sooo much! Hope to have many good news to tell you in the future :-)))
